III.                PROCEDURE
A.      Preparatory activities
1.       Motivation
Do you think by the year 2020, human being will have been cloned?
What will have been discovering before the end of 2020?

B.      TASKS
1.       Read the sentences. Take note of the underlined phrases.
1.       From more advanced models of cellular phone will have evolved by the year 2005.
2.       By that time, advanced communication systems will have served a greater number of people.
3.       Before the month’s ends, our class will have researched about a fusion reactor that sends as solar energy.
4.       We will have discussed our group report before we [present in class.
5.       Different groups will have shared ideas about their vision of the future before the class ends.

THE FUTURE PERFECT TENSE
The future perfect tense is used to describe the following:

1.       AN ACTION WHICH WILL BE COMPLETED BY A DIFINITE TIME IN THE FUTTURE.
a.       We shall have seen the results of our experiment by next week.
b.      My colleagues will have prepared for the presentation by tthat time.
2.       AN ACTION WHICH WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE ANOTHER FUTURE ACTION TAKES PLACE.
a.       People will have encountered various problems before they fully realize the adverse effects of technology.
b.      They will have made adjustment before the century ends.
The future perfect tense has two forms:
1.       The ordinary form: will/shall+have+past participle of the main verb.
2.       The progressive form: will/shall + have + been+ present participle of the main verb.

C.      APPLICATION
ACTIVITIES:
#1. Give the future form of the verb in parenthesis.

#2. Combine the following pairs of sentences to form a sentence in the future perfect tense. Use the future perfect tense in the earlier future action and the simple present tense for the later future action.
      Example: the department of science and technology and of values education will hold a symposium next Tuesday. We will have a panel discussion next week.
1.       We will gain insight. We will organize our discussion.
2.       Students will hear new information from the speakers. They will listen to us.
3.       The audience will arrive at realization. We will speak
4.       in class.
5.       We will talk about the importance of balancing care for nature with the invention of gadgets for progress. We will present the discussion.
