Read the sentences. Take note
of the underlined phrases.

THE FUTURE PERFECT TENSE
The future perfect tense is used to describe the
following:
1.
AN ACTION WHICH WILL BE COMPLETED
BY A DIFINITE TIME IN THE FUTTURE.
a.
We shall have seen the results
of our experiment by next week.
b.
My colleagues will have
prepared for the presentation by tthat time.
2.
AN ACTION WHICH WILL BE
COMPLETED BEFORE ANOTHER FUTURE ACTION TAKES PLACE.
a.
People will have encountered
various problems before they fully realize the adverse effects of technology.
b.
They will have made adjustment
before the century ends.
The future perfect tense has two forms:
1.
The ordinary form: will/shall+have+past
participle of the main verb.
2.
The progressive form:
will/shall + have + been+ present participle of the main verb.
